    Gabrielle

    Gabrielle has been teaching yoga since 2002 and her greatest passion is sharing the joy and benefits of yoga with others. She is co-owner of Bhava Yoga and Dance Centre in Warrandyte where she teaches regular yoga and meditation classes, workshops and offers private yoga therapy consultations. She runs a 12 month Yoga teacher training program and facilitates a 30 hour post graduate course in Anatomy Fundamentals. Gabrielle is a Level 1 iRest® -Yoga Nidra teacher in training and trained in Lifeforce Yoga for Anxiety and Depression. She has been the state co-ordinator for Yoga Australia for the last 2 years. Her teaching has been inspired and influenced by Lyn Colenso, Susi Hately, Richard Miller, Leslie Kaminoff and Amy Matthews.

    Ann Marie

    Ann Marie Johnston is a marketing professional, entrepreneur, yoga teacher and mum of two. She is the Director of YogaMate, a digital platform that provides marketing tools and resources that help Yoga Specialists better connect with their students and community. Focused on championing the therapeutic applications of Yoga and helping the public better understand Yoga’s breadth, her ultimate aspiration is to support getting Yogic tools into national school curricula.

    Shawn Ashkanasy

    Shawn was a reluctant yogi; he first started Ashtanga yoga in 2002. After a few stops starts, he reconnected with his practice. Following his belief that yoga should be egalitarian, Shawn uses simple, accessible language that empowers everyone to discover their own practice, one that is right for their body, experience and personal goals. Shawn incorporates mindfulness and other embodied practices into his teachings and has completed 20 hours training in Trauma Sensitive Yoga with the Trauma Centre Yoga Program.

    Katie Fox

    A Hatha Yoga Practitioner who enjoys working with diversity. Adaptive, accessible yoga for everybody, of every ability, so they feel connected, included and empowered. I am passionate about learning and sharing Yogic knowledge within the Vocational Education and Training sector and the wider community in health and related stakeholders. Post-Graduate Specialist training in Yoga for (dis) Ability) and Yoga for Seniors. Yoga Australia Victoria Volunteer since 2014.

    Sarah Vanis

    Sarah is a Yoga Teacher, Ayurveda Practioner and Principal of the nationally accredited Diploma of Ayurveda Yoga Teaching (10579NAT). She brings her love of cooking into her classes to promote natural healthcare. Sarah owns Aligning Health Retreat & Day Spa in Bendigo providing accommodation and specialising in Ayurveda and Yoga.
