Topic Streams

Common Interest Community Stream

New this year!

We’re excited to introduce a new conference feature – Common Interest Community Sessions (CIC).

A unique way to learn, connect and share, CICs are dynamic afternoon sessions providing delegates with the opportunity to explore key topics and meet others with common interests right at the start of the conference.

Registrants are invited to select one of the three programs to attend.

This year’s CIC’s will be:

  • Yoga for Mental & Emotional Health
  • Yoga for Special Populations
  • Yoga in Service

Yoga Australia is seeking presenters for our CIC session – which will run on Friday afternoon, March 16 – from 1:00 – 4:00. The CIC session will be managed by two chair heads, with 6 presenters. Each presenter will give a short presentation to a small, intimate circle of delegates – (no audio/visuals) followed by a Question and Answer period. They will then shift to the next circle of delegates.

After 120 mins, presenters will have shared their presentation to the full CIC and the chair heads will facilitate a group discussion for the last 45 mins.

To submit a presentation to be a CIC presenter – please advise on both your topic and which CIC you are applying to present in.
